Thunder Rolls into Belleville on Memorial Day, May 28

Thunder Rolls in Belleville will be held on Memorial Day, May 28, at the Veterans Memorial on High Street, between 2 and 2:30 p.m., after all the motorcyles have come into town and parked.

Preceding the patriotic Memorial Day services at the monument, there will be a scenic motorcyle ride through parts of Van Buren Township, starting at Wayne County Community College on Haggerty Road at 11 a.m. and ending up in Belleville. There is a $10 donation and all riders are welcome. The money will benefit local veterans and their families.

This eighth-annual event is sponsored by the David C. Brown Funeral Home and Brown Family Center. During the service there will be a time when names of veterans who have died in the past year will be called out. If you want to add your loved one's name, call (734) 697-5090 or email browngriefcenter@yahoo.com for more information.
